Our qualification certificates are evidence of your learners’ hard work and achievements. Here, you can read some frequently asked questions about claiming certification, and find out how to request a replacement certificate.

Vocational qualifications

Vocational qualification certificates are awarded and printed weekly.

Academic qualification

Academic qualification certificates for the summer exam series are printed and posted to centres in late September after the close of the 'Review of Results' period.

Frequently asked questions

Can we get our certificates any earlier?

This may be possible, but we'd need to check what ongoing enquiries we have for your centre and whether we can print and despatch these in order to meet your request. Please contact us by 31 August.

Please note: early certification is only available for the Summer series.

Will grades from previous exams show on the certificate?

No, only grades awarded in the current series will be printed on the certificate.

The grade on the certificate is incorrect. What should I do to get it corrected?

We'll issue you with a replacement certificate if grades have been changed as a result of a post-results enquiry or late amendment. For the below qualifications we will require the incorrect certificate(s) returning to our address before we can issue a certificate in the new grade:

BTEC Construction

For all other subjects please contact us to request for certificates to be amended. Once you receive the corrected certificate, you must securely destroy the original certificate.

How do I make a change to the spelling of a student’s name(s)?

If you haven’t yet received your certificate, then please contact us as soon as possible and provide details of the amendments.

If you have received the certificate(s) for any of the qualifications listed below, we will require the incorrect original certificate(s) to be returned before we can issue a new certificate with the corrections:

Will an absence or any sickness show on the certificate?

No. Certificates will only show current grades and awards. Any absences will not show on the certificates.

Will I be charged for a replacement certificate?

If the replacement certificate is due to a grade change via the Enquiry about Results process, then you won't be charged.

For all other replacement certificates your centre will be charged a fee.
