The overall grading table for the BTEC tech Awards has been changed to make the qualification outcomes fair. The revised table can be seen in the specification.

The Sample Assessment Material (SAM) for the BTEC Technical Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development, Unit 1 has been amended to align with the online test and the mark scheme has been revised for questions 21 and 24 to show the correct allocation of points. This is now available on the qualification page.

The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Children's Play,Learning and Development (Early Years Assistant) has been approved as meeting the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner criteria and will be added to the Early Years Qualification list when updated next.

BTEC First Award in Children's Play, Learning and Development learners registered in September 2018 will only be able to re-sit the exam one time. This change is in line with all 'Technical Awards' on the Key stage 4 performance tables.
