T Levels Employer Partnerships for Finance
The T Level Technical Qualification in Finance has been partnered by the CII, APCC and CISI.
Pearson has partnered with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) to support teachers and learners in their T Level in Finance. The CII are committed to a free training programme for teachers, supporting them in the delivery of the following occupational specialisms within the T Level in Finance:
- Insurance Practitioner
- Investment Banking and Asset and Wealth Management Analyst.
The CII recognise the career opportunities and work closely with employers in the UK in addressing skills gaps. With a large employer group that centres are able to link up with in relation to the industrial placement and potential future career pathways for learners.
CII are committed to piloting the T Level qualifications in Insurance and Personal Finance. By supporting employers and colleagues in a controlled test of the qualification, CII can review and develop the most effective way to manage the T Level in the future, making the most of this opportunity to create an early pipeline of talent.
The APCC is active in enhancing the professional standards of compliance consultants and is recognised as a trade association by the FCA and other regulators. This provides our members with significant benefits in terms of direct access to the Regulators as well as business leads. The APCC often works in conjunction with the FCA to pilot or test new initiatives, and we also provide with valuable feedback on specific subjects as requested by them.
Our members come from all sectors of the financial services industry. Many firms specialise in a specific sector such as fund management or investment retail intermediaries, and, in a sign of the times, we are now very active in the Crypto arena. Other members have cross sector capability and range from sole traders to the largest consultancies in the sector, all benefitting from the membership as part of the wider consulting community.
APCC and employers in the sector have supported the Financial Compliance/Risk Analyst occupational specialism within the Finance T Level Technical Qualification.
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is the leading professional body for securities, investment, wealth and financial planning professionals.
Dedicated to professionalism since it emerged from the London Stock exchange in 1992, its purpose is to champion lifelong learning and integrity, raising individual standards of knowledge, skills and behaviour globally to enhance public trust and confidence in financial services.
CISI and employers in the sector have supported the Investment Banking and Asset and Wealth Management Analyst occupational specialism within the Finance T Level Technical Qualification.
