Work in partnership with Pearson

We work with a wide range employers who have contributed specialist advice and expertise in the design and development of the T Level Technical Qualification specifications and assessments. We regularly review these qualifications and to do that we rely on industry experts who sit on our Employer Validation Panel (EVP) for the relevant industry sector.

Find out more about becoming a member using the links below.

If you would like to find out more, discuss what commitment is involved, or how involvement will support you or your team's professional development Pearson would love to hear from you.

Please email tlevelsemployers@pearson.com and our dedicated Stakeholder Engagement Manager will be more than happy to discuss.

Let us know you're interested in being part of the EVP

We suggest employers are represented by a team member with one of more of the following:

  • Technical knowledge of the entry job role a T Level student is likely to progress to.
  • Enough understanding of what threshold competence will mean for the Occupational Specialism.
  • Knowledge of company policy and position on the recruitment needs of the organisation.

Help schools and colleges teach the skills you need.

As a member of our Employer Validation Panel, you can support teachers to deliver the most up to date industry-based skills to ensure students are learning the topics that matter most to you.

As industry experts many of our employer's support T Level students to gain knowledge and skills, student membership or chartered status, access to software, and progression onto professional training.

Work with Pearson to deliver industry-based master classes, share your expertise and showcase innovative up-to-date industry practice.

Offer T Level Industry Placements and build your own talent pipeline. Those mentoring T Level students will be able to claim digital credentials recognising their commitment.

Frequently-asked questions

There are a number of ways employers can get involved:

  • Supporting the Awarding Organisation in the development and delivery of assessment (see Employer Validation Panels question, below).
  • Supporting local providers with the delivery of the Industry Placement for T Level students.

EVPs are how Pearson will ensure the validity of our assessments and content. EVPs comprise of industry representative employers who have been handpicked to input into the quality and suitability of our assessment strategies, assessment activities, curriculum content and grading.

If you work for an organisation that would like to be involved in our EVPs, please contact us.

We’d suggest contacting your local provider (FE or Sixth Form college).
