We regularly run free and paid-for online training events to support you with the delivery of our MySkills qualifications. Find out more about them here.
These online events will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will contribute two hours of CPD.
They enable you to train your whole department for the cost of one login. For more information, email trainingbookings@pearson.com.
Details of our MySkills training events
We've designed this free online event for practitioners who are new to delivering MySkills and WorkSkills qualifications. It will focus on delivery and assessment methods.
By attending the event, delegates will:
- briefly explore the MySkills and WorkSkills qualifications
- explore approaches to delivery in different settings
- look at ways to assess and gather evidence to suit different learners
- have the opportunity to ask questions.
This free online event is designed for practitioners who want to learn more about the Money and Finance and Learning for Life qualifications and gain support and guidance on improving the teaching and learning of skills across the curriculum and for learner progression.
By attending the event, delegates will:
- gain an understanding of the qualifications, their content, units assessment methodology and general approach
- consider how the qualifications encourage and develop learning and study skills, in addition to employability skills
- gain an insight into possible curriculum models that can be applied and how to get started
- review support materials and how they can help with managing teaching workload
- have the opportunity to ask questions and network.
