BTEC Higher Nationals Policing (2017) - RQF

By 2020, all new entrants to the police force must be qualified to degree level. The new BTEC Higher Nationals in Policing should enable qualification holders to top up to a BA Honours Degree in Policing or related subject area (where there is an articulation agreement in place between the centre and a University) or enter employment as a Special Constable, Police Volunteer or Police Staff (civilian roles.) The new BTEC Higher Nationals in Policing are aimed at students who want to continue their education through applied learning and/or who want to study locally.
