What are BTEC Entry Level and Level 1 qualifications?
These qualifications introduce learners to the skills required to work in a particular sector, as well as cross-sector employability skills such as communication, time management and teamwork.
Available in a range of vocational contexts, they provide Entry and Level 1 learners with the opportunities to progress to higher levels and ultimately to employment.
BTEC Entry and Level 1 courses can be delivered on their own or as part of our Entry and Level 1 Programmes, taught alongside Personal Social Development and Functional Skills qualifications as part of Foundation Learning.
Who are these qualifications for?
These qualifications are suitable for a diverse range of learners including:
- 14 to 19 year-old learners
- adults returning to study
- those seeking to develop greater independence
- those who have not yet achieved accredited qualifications
- those with specific learning needs.
