March 2015 work-based learning and colleges update
This month’s update features changes to the Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services qualification.
The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (601/5401/9) QCF has been live for registration since January 2015. This qualification replaces the children and young people's residential management pathway in the Level 5 Diploma for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services qualification (601/4438/5) QCF.
No further registrations or approval can be made to the young people’s residential management pathway within 601/4438/5 QCF. All other pathways within this qualification are not affected.
The current specification (version 4) for the Level 5 Diploma for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services qualification (601/4438/5) QCF will be amended to reflect the removed pathway.

The final version will be uploaded by 15 April 2015. The units and structure are set and will not be modified.
