BTEC Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering:
We have completed all the updates to the BTEC Level 3 AME qualification suite and applied these changes to existing approvals and qualifications codes in Edexcel Online.

These changes are summarised in the latest version of the specification. The new pathway in Robotics is available for centres who wish to seek approval, via contacting our Customer Services team. Summary information on the changes can be found in the article below.
BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Machining
The Machining pathway has been developed as a separate qualification to AME and is being submitted to Ofqual this month, for a 1st January 2023 first teaching date.
This qualification covers development technical knowledge for machinist technicians who are starting on the new Engineering Technician standard (machining pathway), which has recently been approved.
The qualification will ultimately replace the existing knowledge qualification in Machining at level 3, which will close to new registrations after a suitable notice period. Centres delivering the current Level 3 Diploma in Machining will get auto approval for the new AME Machining qualification.
