May 2023 Design and Technology update

I hope the term is going well and that you are making good progress with your NEA marking, sample submissions and exam preparation.
This update focuses on
Gearing up for 15 May
Last month`s update focused on the procedure of sample and marks submissions for your NEAs. This includes, identifying your sample, submitting marks on edexcel online and submitting learner samples on Learner Work Transfer. You can access this update in the link below, which will help you in administering your NEA and submitting it by 15 May.
Exam dates
- A level D&T exam will take place on 7 June, pm.
- GCSE D&T exam will take place on 19 June, am.
Exam Wizard
Exam Wizard is a useful tool, in which you can access past papers but also build your own papers from the questions available. All past papers, SAMs and Additional SAMs are all inlcuded in Exam Wizards, so there are plenty questions to pick from.

- Access exam papers quickly
- Build your own paper from the questions available
- Select topics to see related questions to build targetted topic tests.
Past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports
Access past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports from previous series, which will help with preparing your learners for the exams. Past papers will demonstrate the types of question and the examiner reports will highlight good practice in answering exam paper questions.
