Supporting the move to distance learning delivery for BTEC Higher Nationals
Pearson wants to support those centres that have transferred their teaching and learning online during the COVID-19 crisis.
In order that we can do this as effectively as possible, it would be most helpful if your centre could complete this Temporary Distance Learning form and return it to hnqa@pearson.com if your centre has moved (or is planning to move) to distance learning. This will support us in knowing your change in delivery which, in turn, allows us to offer support and guidance.

Distance Learning Policy
Centres have always had an option to deliver our qualifications via distance learning and we asked that they comply with the Distance Learning Policy. In light of the current situation, the Distance Learning Policy serves as guidance and best practice that you can adopt at your centre, but you will not be assessed against the standards outlined in the document.
We ask however that, if you've transferred to delivering our qualifications online, you inform us by completing the temporary distance learning form.
Resources that support online delivery
The Pearson Higher Education Qualifications team are developing a range of resources for centres, tutors and students to support the transition to online teaching, learning and assessments during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Students and staff can access free resources on HN Global that will support the delivery of qualifications as well as help students learn independently. This includes textbooks, short courses and career guidance, among others.
