It could lead to employment as manager on site, with responsibility for identifying teams, controlling project progress against against the agreed programme, quality and standards and controlling project quantities and costs. Learners can specialise in management in different contexts: Building and Civil Engineering, Highways Maintenance and Repair, Residential Development, Traditional and Heritage Building, Demolition, Tunnelling or Retrofit.
