Feedback for Support materials and Topic of the Month

The Religious Studies team at Pearson would love to hear your views on both the newly created 'Topic of the Month' and 'D' question exemplars and examiner guidance, so would be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to respond to this short questionnaire. Your feedback will help us to judge the success of these new resources and allow us to consider how we can improve them in the future.

This survey should take around 5-10 minutes and responses will be collated for review on Friday, 29th April.

Support materials for 'D' questions

GCSE support materials are now available for specification A (1RA0) and B (1RB0) in the 'teaching and learning' area of the qualifiication website (links provided below). These have been developed by our chief examiners, Christine Paul and Diane Kolka, to support your students, in preparation for the coming exam series and specifically focus on providing support for 'D' or extended questions through the provision of exemplars and examiner advice and guidance.

Religious Studies topic of the month

Topic of the month aims to stimulate discussion at Key Stages 4 and 5 and bring religion to life. This can be achieved by considering religion’s relevance in our vast modern world. Each month we select one or more current news articles, which you may wish to read and integrate into your teaching practice, using the discussion prompts provided.
