At Level 2 it's required at Level 1, and at Levels 3 and 4 it's required at Level 2. Delivery of the required functional skills, as per the latest framework information provided by e-skills, is required in order for centres to apply for Apprenticeship completion certificates.

In addition, unit code 302, within the Level 3 requirements, has to be completed as part of the overall qualification.

The learning outcomes are as follows:

5 - Improve organisational effectiveness.
5.1 - Describe the aims and objectives of the organisation.
5.2 - Describe the organisation's brand or image and how it can be promoted.
5.3 - Identify the organisation's structure, roles and responsibilities.
5.4 - Identify potential improvements to organisational effectiveness.
