Update: Key Stage 4 technical qualifications performance tables

Dear Everyone

I hope you’re all keeping safe and well. I know you are continuing to work under challenging circumstances and many of you have been adjusting to and juggling a new world of distance teaching and learning, working long hours, homeschooling, and covering for colleagues who have been affected by coronavirus. Thank you for all the amazing work you are doing to keep learning going during these unprecedented times.

We are getting in contact to share the latest information we have regarding Key Stage 4 (KS4) performance tables. The Department for Education (DfE) has let us know that, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they have delayed their KS4 performance tables review by a year.  
 
This means that:

• The list of qualifications approved for inclusion in the 2022 KS4 performance tables will be carried forward and approved for inclusion in the 2023 KS4 performance tables. We will be updating our website shortly to reflect this change.

• We'ill now be submitting our KS4 BTEC qualifications to be included in the 2024 KS4 performance tables (for qualifications being taught from September 2022).

What does this mean for me?

You can continue to teach your current courses with confidence until September 2022.

The new list of approved qualifications for inclusion in the 2024 KS4 performance tables will apply from September 2022. If you have any immediate questions, please contact us.
