Register of Apprenticeships Assessment Organisations (RAAO)

The SFA has released the results of the first round of applications for the  Register of Apprenticeship Assessment Organisations. The SFA had previously announced that awarding organisations wanting to deliver end-point assessment had to apply to go onto the register.

Pearson has been approved to deliver end-point assessment on six of the new apprenticeship standards; we are the only organisation to be approved for five of these.

The standards which we have been approved for on are:

• Dental Laboratory Assistant*
• Dental Practice Manager*
• Dental Technician*
• Housing/Property Management*
• Property Maintenance Operative
• Railway Engineering Design Technician*

Chris Bolton, Director of Stakeholder Relations, said: “We are delighted to get all 6 approved and this paves the way for us, as one of the largest providers of apprenticeships, to continue to work closely with the Trailblazer employer groups as they build and develop standards for the new apprenticeships.”

Phase 5 Trailblazers announced

The phase 5 job occupations for the new apprenticeship standards have been released.
