AS and A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics: February 2020 update
Here's a round-up of this month's latest news and support to help you and your students make the most of our AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics qualifications.
Now online: new mock papers
We recently published a new set of mock papers for A level Further Mathematics* that you can use with your students. They are available in PDF and Word format to enable you to tailor these as you wish.
These follow the A level Mathematics mocks we released in January that exemplify some of the improvements we're making to our question papers.
If you haven't done so already, view and download the new mock papers today.*
Also available: new exemplars
There are now more exemplar student answers with examiner comments online to support you and your students with exam preparation.
The answers and comments correspond to questions from the summer 2019 papers and are available for:
- AS Mathematics
- A level Mathematics
- AS and A level Core Pure Mathematics
- AS and A level Further Pure Mathematics
- AS and A level Further Statistics
- AS and A level Further Decision Mathematics.
Happening this term: network events
Our Maths Collaborative Network events will be taking place around the country throughout this term.
At these events, you can collaborate with colleagues, share ideas, discuss the issues most important to you, and get your questions answered.
Visit the training events pages to find events near you and book your place.
Now available: revision wellbeing infographics
In addition to creating content to aid the teaching and learning of our courses, we're also focused on supporting positive wellbeing in schools and colleges.
As part of our #healthyhappyschools campaign, we've been inspired by our conversations with teachers, students, parents and experts, particularly when it comes to tackling exam stress.
That's why we've created three guides on:
- promoting a sense of calm during revision
- mindfulness for revision
- tips on a calm and steady approach to exams.
Coming soon...
- Updated topic tests
- More updates about the improvements we're making.
