The Department for Education has published the latest AS and A level subject content and assessment objectives for modern foreign languages.
This will inform the development of our new AS and A level qualifications in French, German and Spanish.
The intention is for the new qualifications to be introduced for first teaching from September 2016, with the first full A level examinations in summer 2018. It's proposed that work on the development of AS and A level qualifications in other languages will start one year later.
