GCSE Drama Performance Text Submission
In order to confirm that you have met the requirements to cover contrasting performance texts across components 2 and 3, please complete and submit this form. One form should be submitted per school/college. You can list the texts for your whole cohort on one form.
Responses will be stored and can be cross referenced against examination responses to ensure that centres have complied with the requirements of the specification and subject criteria.
This form must be completed 6 weeks before intended component 2 examination date.
Important: Live Performance Statement
Students are required to watch a live theatre performance for Component 3 (unless permission has been granted to refer to a streamed/recorded production).
You must submit a confirmation of visiting live theatre to us by 8 May 2025 using this survey - Live Theatre Evaluation confirmation survey 2025
Students must have attended live theatre by 8 May 2025.
Please submit a form for each qualification being offered in your centre e.g. one for GCSE, one for A level.
We understand that due to the current cost of living crisis, and other factors such as location, some centres face huge difficulty in trying to take students to see live theatre. If there are extreme extenuating circumstances regarding the access to live theatre for component 3, centres need to apply for special arrangements to allow use of streamed or recorded productions. You have until 8 May to contact Drama Assessment to ask permission to use streamed or recorded productions. We will treat each request on an individual basis.
