Pearson and Goodwall partnership

We have partnered with Goodwall to support the youth of today to prepare for their future. Goodwall are running a 5 week challenge called BetterTogether to support the youth upskill themselves.

So who are Goodwall? Founded in 2014, Goodwall is a global community that levels the playing field for young people so anyone can connect and discover professional opportunities from scholarships to jobs.

There a mobile-first platform with over 1.5M members in more than 150 countries, featuring over 5M jobs & opportunities, more than $1.5M in scholarships & awards and thousands of volunteer events. They help Gen Z build a profile and network of like-minded people who they can share ideas with, showcase achievements and gain support, in order to reach their full potential and positively impact society.

What is BetterTogether?

BetterTogether is Goodwall's response to the COVID-19 economic crisis. They know that many people are feeling stressed, lost and disappointed by the lack of prospects right now, but BetterTogether is here to help. The global, online programme offers a gateway to new opportunities both educational and professional through five weeks of inspiring themed challenges, top speakers and community content available exclusively on the app. In partnership with leading organisations, throughout the program you can win awards, scholarships and more. Ending with a digital certificate youth can add to their CV, BetterTogether is designed to help the youth of today become a better you and make the world a bit better too.

How long does the program run for?

The program runs from 1 August – 18 September 2020.

What are the challenges?

There are a total of 10 challenges, which will run twice weekly, focusing on building both a better you and a better world. These cover topics such as personal development, sustainability, equality, justice, women empowerment and entrepreneurship.
