'The Entrepreneurial Business Teacher' Business Studies Conference is being held at Loughborough University on 22 June 2016.

The event is being delivered by Enterprise Village, in partnership with Loughborough University, and is supported by Pearson, Peter Jones Foundation and ifs University College.

The idea behind the day is to give teachers the opportunity to hear and discuss business practice with some leading entrepreneurs. 

The day will focus on new business ventures that take full advantage of technology. There'll also be information on business studies delivery and qualifications, including an update from Ofsted.

Speakers include:

  • Alison Pask – Ifs University College
  • Liam Doolan – Co-Founder of Comb
  • Jess Barnett – The Treat Kitchen
  • Laura Hall – Pearson
  • Penny Power OBE
  • Adrian Lyons – HMI Ofsted national lead for economics, business and enterprise.

Tea and coffee will be available from 9.30 a.m., with the conference starting at 10 a.m. The day will finish by 3 p.m.
