Centre support and Networking: Please note that the next T Level Construction Network Event is 11 October and can be booked here:

Network event: T Level in Construction

These sessions are mainly held for your benefit, to receive updates and network together, sharing best practice, which has proved valuable for new centres when speaking to centres who delivered from 2020. You can also join the following groups: Construction group and T level: Construction to ask specific queries and get notified of updates.

Intuit QuickBooks in the UK will be working with us to support the T Level in Accounting.

The key offer falls around the use of QuickBooks Online software for students while they are studying their T Level. This will help solidify the knowledge and skills of the T Level content through the practical application in the QuickBooks Online software platform, which is already widely used in many UK accounting firms.

Pearson is working with Intuit QuickBooks to finalise the offer, which we hope will include the following:

  1. Free of charge QuickBooks Online licences for students and tutors
  2. QuickBooks Online Core Certification Award
  3. Student / Tutor support
  4. Placement opportunities for students (To Be Confirmed).

We are seeking expressions of interest for our Legal Services Provider Validation Panel (PVP) – this is where we ask you to take part in the development and work with us to make sure the Technical Qualification is right for your students and manageable for you to deliver.

Let us know if you want to join the PVP

Please remember to select which subject area you would like to join.

For those of you delivering the T Level in Legal Services from September 2023, being part of the panel will give you early insight to the specification and assessments as they are developed. Not only does this give you the opportunity to feed into content, assessment type, manageability, resourcing etc, it also allows you to prepare your curriculum and delivery before the final specifications are published.

Pearson is responsible for delivering the two components (Core Component and Occupational Specialist Component) of the Technical Qualification for the T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction, and the T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development. The Technical Qualification is one element of the T Level.

As part of our responsibility for these components, Pearson also delivers assessment and results for the following components:

  • Core Component (which consists of the Core Examination and Employer Set Project)
  • Occupational Specialism.

Pearson will send component results to Providers on 17 August 2022 via the EOL mailbox. This will consist of a Statement of Results (1 PDF per student) and a broadsheet of results for all students at the centre across all Technical Qualification components. The release of these component results to students are embargoed until 18 August 2022. Component results are not the same as overall T Level Results information, which will be provided by the Department for Education (DfE) through the Manage T Level Results Service.

Pearson also will transfer all component results to the DfE, who are responsible for the following elements:

  • Aggregating and issuing the overall T Level grade (this includes results from the two Technical Qualification components and the completion of the Industry Placement)
  • Issuing T Level Certificates and Statements of Achievement
  • Transfer of T Level grades to UCAS
  • The Industry Placement.

Check out the DfE’s T Levels support for schools and colleges pages on GOV.UK for more information on these areas
Alternatively, contact the DfE using the ‘Contact Us’ option at the bottom of that page.

If you have queries specifically relating to the Manage T Level Results Service, please email them.

Pearson will be utilising our ResultsPlus platform to support the T Level Core Examinations. ResultsPlus is a free online results analysis tool for teachers that gives a detailed breakdown of your students’ performance in Pearson Edexcel exams, BTEC external assessments, and now T Level Core Examinations.

Core Examination results will be available on ResultsPlus on student results day, enabling you to access and review student marks in more detail.

For more information, visit our ResultsPlus page

We know that you may have some questions on Results Day so, to help direct your question, please note the following:

Pearson is responsible for delivering the Technical Qualification, which is one element of the T Level. Pearson delivers assessment and results for the following components of the Technical Qualification:

  • Core Component Examinations
  • Employer Set Project
  • Occupational Specialist Project.

Results are released to Providers either in March or August (depending on when the student sat the assessment). Providers will receive a results slip. Please note that Technical Qualification certificates are not provided.

Pearson transfers all component results to the Department for Education via ESFA. The DfE is responsible for the following elements, so please contact the DfE directly if you have any questions about:

  • Aggregating and issuing T Level grades
  • Issuing T Level certificates
  • The transfer of T Level grades to UCAS
  • The Industry Placement.

We would like to work with you and some of your employers to follow some of your students during their industry placement. The aim is to create some case studies to show the benefits to the qualification outcomes. If you are happy to share industry placement employer details, please contact the Stakeholder Engagement Manager, Andrew Hambelton.
