The modules I studied were great and I valued the in-depth knowledge and a variety of content covered by the qualification. I feel that the content lends itself to practical applications and I found it to be directly relevant to applied management.

During my studies I was able to gain a variety of skills, including:

  • analytical skills to underrstand managerial issues
  • ability to develop strategic insights
  • conceptual skills relating to business situations
  • ability to develop a professional progression pathway. 

These skills have made a significant change in developing my managerial and technical skills, and enabled me to achieve my career aspirations.

My advice to other students would be to relate learning to real life work situations and personal life. Look beyond the standard textbooks and seek greater knowledge fromt he world-at-large.

I believe that BTEC Higher Nationals are great pathways for academic and professional advancement, for any person looking for globally respected qualifications.
