During his time at Leeds College of Building, he has evolved from a shy, quiet student into an innovative, strategic thinker who regularly challenged and changed ineffective procedures at work, ran CPD training for his office, volunteered at environmental days and mentored young apprentices.

His conduct and dedication to his studies was always exemplary and as a result of his hard work during a placement at AECOM, they offered him an Advanced Technical Apprenticeship, which he accepted.

Liam is a fantastic mentor to his peers and has produced countless ‘how to guides’ in order to make life easier for others and he delivers training sessions.

"My journey has been a long one, but very worthwhile. Stick with the programme, soak in as much as possible and look to gain experience or employment in a relevant field."

What shines through is the undeniable fact that Liam genuinely enjoys helping people, both at college and work. He began working at BWB Consulting in February 2015 and continued with his college attendance one day a week, sponsored by BWB, while gaining on-the-job experience within their Leeds Transport and Infrastructure Design team. Liam has become a valued member of the team and a real asset to both BWB and to his industry.
