- WorkSkills Level 3 to be removed from Section 96
- We've heard from the Education Funding Agency that our Pearson Level 3 WorkSkills qualifications will be removed from Section 96.
- Extensions to WorkSkills and Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness (SEPE)

- WorkSkills transition
- To ensure that you can claim the correct amount of funding needed for delivery, we have extended the 2011 BTEC WorkSkills qualifications which were due to be retired from 1 September 2016.
- BTEC Level 3 WorkSkills Plus qualifications withdrawn
- The BTEC Level 3 WorkSkills Plus suite has now been withdrawn and is no longer available for new registrations.
- WorkSkills redevelopment update
- Following the extension of the 2011 versions of BTEC WorkSkills Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 until 31 December 2016 we are now working to rectify the issue that was identified with the new WorkSkills suite.
- October 2016 WorkSkills update
- We are still working hard to rectify the issue with Guided Learning Hours allocated to the new Workskills suite of qualifications. A solution has been identified, however which will be in place as promised early in the New Year.
- Training for amended WorkSkills specification
- Two dates have now been arranged for online training for the new amended WorkSkills specification, for centres that are intending to start delivering from early in 2017.

- Withdrawal of WorkSkills of Effective Learning and Employment (WELE)
- As part of our regular review of qualifications we have made the decision to withdraw the following qualifications and the final date for registrations will be 30th April 2018 with a certification end date of 30th April 2020.
