WorkSkills qualifications are accredited

Accreditation news

The new Workskills qualifications have now all been accredited ready for 1 September 2016 and we're expecting them to appear on the funding lists, including the Hub, shortly.

Draft specification available for WorkSkills

If you've signed up for training events or further updates, you will have received a copy of the draft specification to aid planning. These are not yet available in the WorkSkills area of the website, but we're expecting the pre-publication version of the specification to be on the website shortly.

If you haven't yet received a copy of the draft specification but you need this to support your planning, please register your details and we'll ensure that these materials are sent to you. Registering will also ensure that you're the first to receive information about the development, and materials that become available.

WorkSkills new specification launch events

There are still spaces available at the present time on the following 2 launch events:

• 15BVWS02/06 - Manchester, face to face (1 July)
• 15OVWS04/02 - Live online event (7 July)

If you try to register and the events have become full, please click and add your details to ‘join waiting list’. We guarantee that everyone who signs up will be offered as an absolute minimum a place on an online training event, we also always try our best to offer everyone a place on face-to-face events and sometimes offer additional places if possible.

We're working on a Unit Level signposting document, designed to show the differences between the old and new specifications, that will be available shortly.  We're also going to be working on a selection of assignment briefs for some of the most popular units. These will be made available during August.
