New International Advanced Level October exam series from 2016 announced
We are delighted to announce the introduction of a new October exam series from 2016 for Edexcel International Advanced Level (IAL) qualifications.
We recognise that international schools and universities around the world work to a variety of different academic year calendars, so our aim in introducing the additional series is to:
- give you and your learners greater choice and flexibility to take exams at the most suitable time
- enable seamless progression from IAL qualifications to degree-level programmes.
The new IAL October exam series will be based on the exact same standards as our current January and June exam series.
Unit availability
We expect exams to be held between 10 October and 10 November. The final exam timetables for the 2016 IAL October exam series will be available on our website in February next year. Candidate results from the 2016 IAL October exam series will be released on 22 February 2017.
