How will this partnership benefit BTEC Sport Coaching and Development learners?

The suite of qualifications in the Sport, Coaching and Development all map to the CIMSPA set industry standards for working as an Assistant Coach. In addition, the Diploma and Extended Diploma qualifications map to the coaching standards. All of these qualifications are sector-recognised as entry into employment.

Learners who successfully complete the relevant size qualification will be able to gain CIMSPA professional status in the sport and physical activity sector through their level of professoinal status.

Application for professional status through CIMSPA membership

Learners will need to complete the required CIMSPA membership application process, including payment, and provide evidence of having successfully completed the BTEC qualification.
