New apprenticeships Business Administrator (L3)
About the role
This apprenticeship standard is for apprentices who wish to gain the competencies required to work within a Business Administrator role.
Apprentices will develop a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in small and large businesses alike across the public, private and charitable sector. They will bring added value to the business, contributing to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as required.
This role needs strong verbal and written communication skills and for apprentices to work independently and with initiative. They will take responsibility for the outcomes of their work including developing, implementing, maintaining and improving business administrative functions and services.
This apprenticeship standard is a minimum 12-month programme and should typically be completed within 18 months.

Qualifications
Apprentices must achieve a minimum of Level 2 English and Level 2 maths

End-point assessment

You can use Pearson as your end-point assessment organisation, regardless of whether you choose to use our on-programme offer or not.

Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard EPA plan changes
The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has published a latest version 3 of the assessment plan for the Business Administrator Standard - ST0070/AP03.
As of 10 September 2020, all new apprentices starting on the Business Administrator Standard will be registered against version 3 of the assessment plan and undertake EPA as per its requirements.
Any apprentices registered prior to 10 September 2020 should remain on version 1 of the assessment plan - ST0070/AP01.
