Specification update: December 2017

We've made some minor amends to our BTEC National in Forensics and Criminal Investigations:

  • Unit 1, Learning Aim B3 change to wording. Please see the Erratum Notice under Course Materials for more details.
  • Unit 1 assessment length has been extended to 2 hours. The number of questions and marks has not changed.

The Diploma and Extended Diploma have been approved by the DfE for the post-16 performance tables in England (2020 results). The external assessments for Unit 5 and Unit 7 are both now single part tasks. Please see the updated specification and SAMs for more information.
