DfE and Ofqual consultation outcome
The outcome of the joint Ofqual and Department for Education consultation, which took place in January, has now been announced.
The consultation focused on arrangements for issuing results this year for regulated Vocational and Technical Qualifications, in response to the cancellation of external assessments due to take place in February, March and June 2021. The qualifications will be awarded through a process of TAGS (Teacher assessed grades).

UK General qualification fees 2021
We understand the financial pressure on UK Schools and colleges, and are therefore pleased to confirm that we are extending the payment terms of our GCSE, AS and A level qualification summer entries by three months, until the end of June, by which time by which time we hope to have a better understanding of any potential rebate.
In January, we shared details of our 2021 general qualification fees. We’ve worked hard to keep fees as competitive as possible whilst providing the market-leading support we know you value. As a reminder, you can read more about what our fees cover in a ‘normal’ year in our visual guide.
