Outcomes of the consultation on A Level Chinese and Japanese

In a previous update I let you know that the Department for Education and Ofqual were running a consultation on the subject content for A Level Chinese and Japanese. This consultation is now over and we have published an update on the outcomes.

Biblical Hebrew set texts

We have recently published an update to our Biblical Hebrew
set texts to include the texts for examinations in 2026-2028.

International GCSE English as a Second Language

Our new International GCSE ESL qualification has now been launched, for fist assessment in 2025. This will replace the current International GCSE ESL which will be assessed for the final time in June 2025, meaning there will be one overlap series with both specifications available.
