Thank you!

We know how much hard work and dedication that teachers, tutors and home-educators put into supporting students; from the teaching of the course, the preparation, marking and lead up to exams themselves.

On behalf of everyone within the Pearson Edexcel Citizenship Studies team, 'Thank You'.

We hope you have a fantastic, restful break when the summer holidays finally arrive!

Citizenship Studies Teaching and Learning Survey

Our team are currently reflecting upon the various teaching and learning resources produced this year for our schools.

We would also love to hear from you as we reflect upon a busy year so, please complete the Citizenship Studies teaching and learning survey to help us plan new resources for 2023-2024 and to give you a chance to win a £25 Amazon voucher.

Your feedback will really help us better understand the ongoing needs of our centres and will guide our future provision.

Post-results service: Access to Scripts

What is it?

Access to Scripts is an online service, included as part of your qualification fees, that allows you to view your candidates’ marked scripts online or download as a PDF.  The Access to Scripts service provides a rich source of information.  It enables detailed analysis to inform teaching and learning and support students, giving insights and visibility that performance data alone cannot provide.

Scripts do not have examiner annotation on them. The marked script allows teachers to evaluate how the student performed on particular questions in relation to what they have been taught; the Principal Examiner's report and the exemplars that we make available demonstrate how the mark scheme is applied.

When can I access this service?

From results days until 15th December 2023, you will be able to view and download scripts (which have been marked online) free of charge using our Access to Scripts service.

How can I access this service?

Access to scripts service

The Portal can only be accessed by Edexcel Online users who have the Exam Viewer profile ticked on Edexcel Online. Exams officers give teachers access to Exam Viewer.

Candidate consent

Candidate consent is required before requesting script copies, as per section 4.2 of the JCQ's Post-results services guide. Candidate consent can only be obtained after results have been published.

JCQ post results services guide

What if scripts were not marked online?

If scripts have been marked ‘traditionally’ (i.e. not online), you will need to request them, free of charge, by 15xth December 2023, via the Post Results section of Edexcel Online as in previous exam series.

Post-results service: ResultsPlus

ResultsPlus is a free online results analysis tool for teachers that gives you a detailed breakdown of your students’ performance in Pearson Edexcel exams. It provides the most detailed analysis available of your students’ performance and helps you to identify topics and skills where your students could benefit from further learning, helping them gain a deeper understanding of their subject.

It includes a range of features, including analysis on the performance of different classes within your own cohort, comparing these to similar schools and the national picture and drilling down and comparing students of different abilities on a question by question level.

You can access this using your Edexcel Online login details.
