No, you will not need to gain any additional approval, however we will ask you to complete the Intention to Offer Form which will be available in the coming weeks. This will ensure that we set your centre up on our new service and grant you access to be able to book remote invigilation when making your onscreen test bookings. 

Once we have set your centre up to be able to use the service you will book your tests in the usual way on either Edexcel Online or QMA and will have the option to add the Remote Invigilation service at time of booking. 

Yes, we will announce our competitive price for the service on this page soon. 

We will provide more detailed information and guidance about taking tests remotely soon and we will ask all centres to consider the suitability of taking tests in this way and ensure that it will meet their individual learners needs. 

Learners will need a computer with a Windows operating system, working webcam, speakers and microphone with Google Chrome on the machine. They will also need a second device which they will be able to install the remote invigilation solution App on and has a working camera. 

We will provide full and detailed technical requirements soon so that you can work with your learners to ensure that their equipment can be meet these requirements before booking them in for a test with remote invigilation. 

Initially yes, any interim solution that you have gained approval for will still be available when we launch this new service. However, as we add more of our qualifications to this service, we will start looking to withdraw the interim solutions. We will give you advance notice of any changes.
