Secure Tests BTEC Security qualifications tests
Welcome to the test download facility for the BTEC Security qualifications, developed to support Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensing of security operatives.
Please be aware that these pages contain secure tests for both old and new security qualifications. You need to ensure that you download the correct test for the qualification on which your learner is registered. We will be unable to process test submissions for an incorrect qualification.
The tests for the new qualifications are available under the 2015 tab on each qualification page. The tests for the old qualifications are available under the 2010 tab on each qualification page.
Specimen assessment materials for the new security tests are available on each qualification page. These are intended as an example of what learners should expect from the tests and must not be used as live assessments.
You will need your Edexcel Online username and password to access the test papers. If you're not currently set up to use Edexcel Online, then you need to check with the Edexcel Online Administrator at your centre. If you do not know who this is, please contact us.
Please take some time to look through the Key documents in the menu to the left, where you'll find useful information and videos to help in the running of courses and the administration of your exams.
We also have a leaflet with useful advice that could help save you time. 'tips to save you time' gives you practical support on topics from uploading images to ensuring that your learners receive their results.
Before using the site, please ensure that you read the terms and conditions. By downloading test papers from this site, you are agreeing to comply with these terms and conditions.
Please remember that the test papers for each qualification should be used in numerical order. Start with the lowest and work through to the highest. Once each test paper has been used, you can return to the beginning of the sequence.
Activity on these web pages will be monitored by Pearson.
