Music Mark advocates for, and champions, a government supported, high-quality, music education provision for all school-aged children and young people which addresses diversity, equity and inclusion at its core.
Music Mark is a membership organisation, subject association and charity. Their membership consists of Music Education Services and Hubs, their teaching and support teams; schools; individuals; NYMOS; HE/FE bodies; Hub and Industry Partners.

MiSST works with secondary schools who serve disadvantaged and sometimes challenging communities by providing not only enhanced staffing and funding for classical instruments, but also regular support, opportunities to perform and a programme of excellence that is unrivalled in the UK.
Through their partner schools, MiSST works with young people of all backgrounds and abilities, helping to remove the barriers between them and classical music. Every MiSST student takes the benefits of the programme back home with them. Their participation and smallest achievements are a source of pride for the whole family.
Musicians' Union is the UK trade union for all musicians representing around 32,000 members working right across the music industry.
The Musicians Union stands up for employed and self-employed musicians working in every area of the UK music industry, including music education. Plus, they work to maximise the employment and overall income of musicians as well as protecting and improving working conditions.
Additionally, the Musicians Union lobby government at all levels and campaign on a national and international scale on issues of relevance to their members. They also, actively oppose all forms of harassment, prejudice and unfair discrimination whether on the grounds of sex, race, ethnic or national origin, religion, colour, class, caring responsibilities, marital status, sexuality, disability, age, or other status or personal characteristic.
The Ivors Academy is the UK’s independent professional association for music creators. They are a community of diverse, talented songwriters and composers across all styles. Their talent creates the music that the world loves.
Odyssey Educational trust believes that all children should be challenged and encouraged to reach their full potential and have their achievements celebrated. They work in partnership as a trust to build a learning community where everyone is valued, cared for and happy. The Greater London Authority (GLA) was established by the GLA Act 1999. Its staff are appointed by the Head of Paid Service, the GLA’s most senior official, and serve both the Mayor and the London Assembly.
The Music Education Council (MEC) acts as a medium for bringing together in a working relationship those organisations and institutions in the United Kingdom involved in music education and music education training, thereby creating a common meeting ground and opportunities for the exchange of information and the promotion of joint or connected activities.
UK Music is an industry-funded body, established in October 2008, to represent the collective interests of the recorded, published and live arms of the British music industry.
Through collective representation, UK Music promotes the interests of record labels and music publishers (major and independent), songwriters, composers, lyricists, musicians, managers, producers, promoters, venues and collection societies.
Sing Up is a limited company which operates on a mission-driven, not-for-profit basis. Their core goal is to ensure that children and young people have opportunities to sing regularly. All profits after tax are reinvested in developing more songs and resources or gifted to their charity, the Sing Up Foundation.
Southwark Music Service aims to enrich the lives of all Southwark children and young people by making the learning of music dynamic, energetic, varied and fun. They work with partners in the Southwark Music Hub to maximise the many diverse musical opportunities for those living and learning in Southwark.
The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) is the UK's professional body for musicians and a nationally recognised subject association for music.
Since 1882, they have been dedicated to promoting the importance of music and protecting the rights of those working in the music profession. They support almost 11,000 members across the UK and Ireland with their unrivalled legal advice and representation, comprehensive insurance and specialist services. They also campaign tirelessly in support of musicians' rights, music education and the profession as a whole.
The group of Initial Teacher Educators have recently found a new home at the ISM.
Collectively, they are keen to be part of this uniquely placed organisation. Their diverse membership spans wide representation from across UK music education, including musicians and educators working in a wide variety of settings, schools, hubs, music services, higher education institutions, conservatoires and other organisations and businesses involved in music education.
At English Folk Dance and Song Society, they champion the folk arts at the heart of England’s rich and diverse cultural landscape. They deliver programmes of learning and participation and artists development. Also, the organisation frequently works in partnership with arts, education and heritage organisations.
They have around 3000 members worldwide – most of whom are active participants in music, song, dance, storytelling, customs and traditions.

We achieve this by providing online courses with some of the best contemporary artists in the world, industry-standard software and equipment, and CPD support for music teachers to help them engage their students through contemporary music that they listen to.
