BTEC Higher Nationals Future Homes Design and Construction (2018) - RQF
Industry engagement
Industry is placed at the heart of Pearson BTEC Higher National qualifications. Throughout qualification development and validation, we work with industry experts to structure our qualifications to meet industry standards.
Co-designed with industry, higher and further education experts, and students, Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals provide real-world experience as well as academic knowledge. This ensures students will leave with the required expertise as identified by business and industry, and with the flexibility to go straight into employment or continue to a degree.
Our work with industry
We work with industry post-validation to further recognise our qualifications as high quality and career-focused; whether that be in the form of upskilling their own workforce with our qualifications or simply formally accepting the qualification as a part of the application process.
We are proud to have developed our Pearson BTEC Higher National in Future Homes Design and Construction with experts from large, global organisations, including: TDO Architects, the Ministry of Building Innovation & Education, Cundall, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Institution of Civil Engineers, Vinci Construction, the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board, the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, ARUP, Construction Industry Training Board, the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, Bentley and Autodesk.
The representatives are able to help design our qualifications to equip learners with skills required by industry across the world.
