Access to Scripts
Another way to view your candidates’ marked exam scripts online or downloaded as a PDF is via our free Access to Scripts service. This is available from results day until 12 December 2025.
This service provides rich information that can be used to help make decisions about requesting a review of marking. It can also help inform teaching and learning in the future, providing insights and visibility that cannot be gained through performance data.
If scripts have been marked ‘traditionally’, not marked online, you will need to request them via the Post Results section of EdexcelOnline, this is free of charge and must be submitted by 12 December 2025.
Please note: you will need ‘Exam viewer’ on EdexcelOnline if you wish to download candidate scripts from results day. Please ask your Exams Officer if you need this adding to your profile.
Discover more about access as well as FAQs and a step-by-step User guide:
Please note: candidate consent is required before requesting script copies. There is more information in Section 4.2 of the JCQ’s Post-results service guide. Candidate consent can only be obtained after the results have been published.
