Edexcel GCSE Music: July 2016 update

GCSE (2016) Music
We are continuing to develop support and exemplar material for the new GCSE specification. Over the next few weeks will see exemplar material for the composing component available online. Exemplar material for performing will appear as an ongoing process as copyright clearance is needed for each individual piece.
If you do not wish to purchase the new Anthology to accompany the specification Faber are publishing individual scores for the majority of the set works on the Faber Music Store.

We're holding face-to-face and online Getting Ready to Teach events for the new specification during the autumn term.

GCSE (2012) Music
The question paper for this summer's 5MU03 exam is now available to download and the mark scheme for this will be available online on 19 July. The Principal Examiner's report will be available from results day.

Moderator Report (E9)
Your moderator writes a report to explain where it was necessary to adjust your centre’s marks. Where possible, your moderator advises you on how you could make improvements for future series.

Principal Moderator Report
