Whether you're reviewing results, planning your curriculum, or preparing students for future assessments, we're here to support you every step of the way.
As always, if you have any questions, please get in touch via the contact details at the bottom of this page.
Understanding your Results and Post-Results Services
With results now available, there are a range of resources to help you review performance and understand outcomes in more detail. Grade boundaries, grade statistics, Examiner Reports and ResultsPlus can all provide valuable insights into this summer's assessments and help inform future teaching and learning. Examiner Reports for each qualification can be found in the Exam Materials section of the relevant qualification page. If you would like to review candidate responses or explore a result in more detail, access to scripts and our post-results services are available. We've also scheduled a ResultsPlus training session to help you get the most from your results data as you begin planning for the new academic year.

Thank you for your feedback
Thank you to everyone who completed our post-exam surveys this summer. Across our language qualifications, many teachers commented positively on the accessibility of assessments, clear assessment materials and the support available to help students prepare for exams. We also heard valuable feedback about assessment demand, administration, exam scheduling and the resources that teachers find most useful. Your feedback is an important part of helping us understand teachers' and students' experiences and shape the support we provide throughout the year.
As we begin the new academic year, we'll continue to keep this feedback front of mind as we develop training, resources and support for languages teachers. We know that the best support is informed by the experiences of teachers and students, and we're grateful to everyone who has taken the time to share their views with us.
Upcoming Training and Events
Alongside the training opportunities already highlighted above, we have a wide range of support events planned throughout the year. Whether you're teaching a Pearson Edexcel qualification for the first time or looking to refresh your knowledge, our Getting Ready to Teach and New to Pearson Edexcel events are designed to help you get started with confidence. We also offer a range of qualification-specific sessions, including support for topics such as A Level French Film and Literature and conducting the speaking assessments, as well as training focused on teaching, learning and assessment. Whatever your level of experience, our events are designed to provide practical guidance, subject expertise and opportunities to ask questions and share ideas with fellow languages teachers.
Student Event 2026 Highlights
What happens when 500 students from across the country come together to celebrate the power of languages? Our Languages for the Future Student Event at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium provided a day of inspiration, discussion and discovery, showcasing how languages can support future study, careers and global opportunities. Watch our highlights video to hear from students and speakers who took part and see why languages are about so much more than grammar and vocabulary.
Getting Ready for 2027 Assessments
As you begin planning for the new academic year, now is a good time to familiarise yourself with the key dates for the 2027 assessment series. The 2027 GCSE French, German and Spanish speaking windows have now been confirmed, and the 2027 exam timetables have been published. These dates are now fixed, providing certainty for centres as they plan for the year ahead
Please note that opportunities to provide feedback on exam scheduling have now passed for the 2027 series. The provisional timetables for the 2028 assessment series are expected to be published in early 2027, with the usual consultation and feedback period taking place during March.
