Tech Award 22 moderation

The moderation process for the June 23 series is drawing to a conclusion, and the deadline for submitting amendments to the grades is this Friday, 23rd June.

Moderation is quite a different process to Standards Verification, and it might be that you need some extra support with understanding the processes involved.

You might find our guidance on the moderation process useful.

RIDE resource for Dance

RIDE (Representation in Dance Education) resource is a  free resource for teachers.

The aim of RIDE is to support teachers and educators to deliver content that is authentic, diverse and inclusive. Teachers will also be able to find global majority artists and companies local to them to support the delivery of dance in their school.

This resource showcases global majority dance work through three distinct areas:

  • Dance Works
  • Artists, workshops and Continued Professional Development (CPD)
  • Music List

There is a brand new updated version of the resource released on Thursday 22nd June

Zoonation have released a new education pack to accompany their latest production, Sylvia. With contributions and guidance from BTEC teacher Rachel Howes, the pack contains a wealth of information and guidance that BTEC Tech Award and Nationals students will find useful.

Let's hope that the award winning show gets a further run in the West End or, better still, on national tour!

Speaking of which, Zoonation classic Message In a Bottle is on tour this year throughout the UK, and then across the world. You can find out more about the tour and the Zoonation education resources below
