Accessing and Understanding  Learner Results

These support articles will help you access and download your results through Edexcel Online.

To access results through Edexcel Online (EOL), you'll need an active EOL account provided by your Exams Officer, with the appropriate permissions assigned.

You'll also need to have the Pearson Authenticator app set up, as this is required to access secure areas and materials.

ResultsPlus is Pearson’s online tool for analysing results, offering valuable insights into student performance and supporting future planning.

Mark schemes and papers can help you understand marks and results, analyse student performance, and inform future planning.

You can access the 2026 grade boundaries on our website from results day.

For help understanding marks and grades, please see these dedicated support guides.

Centre moderator reports provide feedback on the accuracy of internal assessment at your centre and identify opportunities for improvement.

These reports are available for components that are internally assessed and externally moderated.

This guidance will help you understand the moderator's feedback and support future improvement.

BTEC Standards Verifier (SV) reports provide feedback on internal assessment and verification decisions, highlighting effective practice to support future assessment and quality assurance.

These reports are available for BTEC units that are standards verified.

Principal Moderator Reports provide insights into candidate performance across all centres for internal assessments, and highlight effective practice to support future teaching and assessment.

These reports are available for components that are internally assessed and externally moderated.

Retention of Learner Work and Evidence

Original learner evidence must be kept current, safe, and secure for 12 weeks after learners have been certificated (unless specifically advised longer due to unforeseen circumstances). Please note that the 12 weeks starts once the certificates have been received by your centre.

Following learner certification, the following BTEC documentation should be retained for a minimum of three years for centre and awarding body scrutiny as required:

  • assignment briefs
  • assessment records (feedback sheets)
  • the associated internal verification documentation
  • achievement tracking at criteria and unit/component level

Find out more about retention of learner work and evidence
