Support for BTEC L3 Nationals
In this update we would like to share with you some of the new support on offer to help you deliver our BTEC Nationals in Applied Science and Forensic & Criminal Investigation.
New content support for units 1 and 5
We have created new content support for external unit 1 (Principles and Applications of Science I) and unit 5 (Principles and Applications of Science II).
Unit 1 appears in both BTEC Nationals Applied Science and Forensic and Criminal Investigation, however unit 5 only appears in BTEC Nationals Applied Science.
This new support has been produced in response to questions and feedback that we have received from centres about details of the content in these units. We ask that you use this new support to help you cover the unit requirements and hope that you find it useful in preparing your learners for examinations.
ResultsPlus
New for this academic year we have ResultsPlus for BTEC Nationals. ResultsPlus is a free online results analysis tool that gives you a detailed breakdown of your learners’ performance. To have access to ResultsPlus, you must have the ‘ResultsPlus access box’ ticked in your Edexcel Online profile. This can be done by your Exams Officer. Once you have this access, you can login using your Edexcel Online username and password.
examWizard
examWizard is a free online resource with past questions and support materials to help you create your own mock exams and tests and it is now available for BTEC Nationals. You can login to examWizard using your Edexcel Online username and password.
