Online learning and assessment tool
An interactive online learning and assessment tool which goes towards supporting your FELTAG (Further Education Learning Technology Action Group) requirements.
This behavioural diagnostic tool provides detailed individual learner profiles and targeted activities to address any weaknesses. Areas covered include self-awareness and coping with stress.
Initial Assessment Tool
Included in the cost of Skilled for Life, the Initial Assessment Tool has been designed to assess learners' basic literacy and numeracy skills, indicating their ability levels and the areas they need to work on.
Traineeships are designed for 16- to 24-year-olds who want to progress to an apprenticeship, paid employment or further study. For 16- to 19-year-olds, they’re designed to form part of the Study Programme provision.
The core content of a traineeships should consist of 3 elements:
- Work preparation training
- Work placement
- English and maths
Few rules sit behind these components, so providers have the flexibility to personalise traineeships to suit the needs of each individual learner.
