For a quick overview of what you need to do, see our Getting started with Skilled for Life factsheet.

Step 1: Gain approval

Before you can deliver Skilled for Life, you'll need to gain approval and register learners. Find out how to gain qualification approval.

If you're already a Pearson centre, you can get approval to offer Skilled for Life through Edexcel Online. The Administration Guide explains how to do this.

Step 2: Build a programme

See the Delivery Guide for information on putting together a Skilled for Life programme. You'll also need to read the Quality Assurance Guide to ensure you understand the standards verification process and roles and responsibilities.

Step 3: Register learners

The Administration Guide explains how to register learners using Edexcel Online.

When registering learners, you'll need to select a credit package based on the number of credits you would like each learner to complete. Learn more about credit packages.
