Project Qualification Climate and sustainability
The Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Extended Project Qualification allows learners to study a topic area which extends their learning in a chosen area of study, as a standalone qualification. Learners select one of the four units. Each of the four units offers a different type of project outcome: a dissertation, an investigation/field study, a performance or an artefact. Learners will be assessed on their ability to plan, manage, complete and review their project.
Why focus your EPQ on Sustainability or Climate Change?
Studying an EPQ focused on sustainability or climate change will allow learners to dive deep into the latest trends and technologies that are shaping the future of the planet. They can learn about exciting new developments in renewable energy, sustainable transportation, green buildings, and more!
Learners can research creative solutions to sustainability and environmental issues that affect people and the planet, such as climate change, pollution, food supply, fashion, waste and energy.
This qualification can demonstrate to universities and future employers that the learner has a passion for sustainability and the environment and has developed the skills required for university-level study or career next steps.
