Getting ready to teach
Getting Ready to Teach Pearson’s new International GCSE (9-1) English Language A specification from 2016
This free event will support you in delivering the new Pearson Edexcel specifications for the International GCSE in English Language (A), first teaching from September 2016.
During the day you will:
- consider the structure and assessment of these new qualifications, and the support available to guide you through these changes
- explore Paper 1, Paper 2 and the coursework route in detail, and take part in planning activities
- explore possible teaching and delivery strategies for the new qualification
- have the opportunity to network, discuss best practice and share ideas with other teachers.
