Replacement qualification for Principles for Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road
The Pearson BTEC Level 1 Award in Principles for Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road (QCF) will be replaced from 1 August 2015.
We've recently reviewed the Pearson BTEC Level 1 Award in Principles for Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road (QCF) (600/4676/4). This qualification will be withdrawn from 31 July 2015. From 1 August 2015 you'll need to register learners on the new version of this qualification, which is Pearson BTEC Level 1 Award in Principles for Carrying and Delivering Goods By Road (QCF) (601/6695/2).
The old version of this qualification was mapped to the Initial Driver CPC requirements. As a result, we have amended the qualification.
The unit ‘Principles of Customer Service When Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road’ (Y/503/7929) has been replaced by a new unit, ‘Principles of Professional Image and Customer Service When Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road’ (M/507/3223). The new unit is 2 credits in size, so as a result the new version of this qualification is 6 credits in size.
