Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship Standard
Following the recent announcement provided by the EQA body, OpenAwards, all End-Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs) have been granted special dispensation to amend existing assessment practice, ahead of the new (version 2) assessment plan being released.
Pearson have taken the decision to remove all of the portfolio evidence requirements in a bid to support apprentices in achieving the portfolio component of their End-Point Assessment (EPA). The grade criteria and apprenticeship standard outcomes remain the same.
What does this mean for you and your current learners?
From this point forward, all apprentices will be assessed against the requirements set out in the amended EPA specification/Additional Resources documents attached. These documents have been updated as per the requirements of the current published assessment plan (version 1).
Please note that when the new assessment plan (version 2) is released, Pearson will produce a new EPA specification, Additional Resources and amend any other supporting materials to reflect the updates.
View the amendments within the end-point assessment specification
For centres delivering EPA through Pearson, more detailed information can be found within both the additional resources document and portfolio of evidence template, which can obtained from your Pearson business development manager and/or Customer Services team.
