NEW 6 week revision programmes

Higher and Foundation tier

The foundation tier 6-week revision programme designed to support students aiming for a grade 4 has been updated. 

The resource pack now includes the most recent ‘Aiming for’ papers. We have also updated the teacher guidance (including highlighting what questions have been used to enable you to avoid repetitive questions).

Level 2 Extended Mathematics Certificate

Updates to the specification and sample assessment materials (SAMs)

Over the summer there have been some final updates to the specification and the Sample Assessment materials that we’d like to make you aware of.

Specification
There have been some minor changes to either the wording of the specification point or the additional guidance for the following specification points:
– G4.4
– P5.1
– P5.2
– P5.3

Sample Assessment Materials (SAMs)

The front cover of each paper has been updated to include a statement regarding the correct equipment list: “You must have: Ruler, pair of compasses, black ink or ball-point pen, HB or B pencil, eraser”

There have also been some corrections made to the mark scheme on paper 2 to question 3 and 7.

The most up to date specification and SAMs can be found on our Pearson qualifications website using the link below. These documents have also been updated on the Maths Emporium.
